Become a member of the Port Stephens Family History Society and connect with others who share an interest in history and family research. Enjoy access to resources, support, and a friendly community dedicated to preserving our local heritage.
Meetings
Meetings are held every Thursday from 10.00 am – 1.00 pm and on the fourth Tuesday of the month for family research for 2 hours from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm.
Our research room is located at 14 Kenneth Parade, Lemon Tree Passage (opposite the Lemon Tree Passage Bowling Club car park & entrance).
Our meeting room is in the Lemon Tree Passage Old School Centre.
Membership Fees
- Single membership: $50.00
- Family membership: $65.00
- Optional Joining Fee: $10.00 (incl. Starter kit)
What am I entitled to when I join?
Members enjoy full access to all society holdings. Please note that computer discs are not available for borrowing. Additionally, certain selected books are marked as non-borrowable to ensure their preservation and availability for all members to reference within the Society’s premises. These resources are available for use whilst in our meeting room.
When should I pay my fees?
Our annual membership fees are due on 1 July and are subject to proportional fees after September. Join us today and play a vital role in helping PSFHSI celebrate the history of Port Stephens.
How can I submit my application form?
Online Membership Application
To complete your membership, you can:
- Download a form & post or present your form at the meeting room, Old School Centre; or
- Complete the online registration form below & submit the online form.
Payment can be made by one of 2 methods:
- Pay in person by cash on any research day at the Lemon Tree Passage Old School Centre, 10.00 am-12.00 pm each Thursday
- Pay by bank transfer to PSFHSI BSB 637-000 Account No. 781377945. Please reference your name and add “membership”.
